Biography

Shatakshi graduated from Amity Law School, Noida in 2022 and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. Prior to PSA, she was retained as legal counsel by an industrial conglomerate, which engaged in real estate development, defence equipment manufacturing, 3D printing, hospitality, where she advised management on compliance issues, contracts, acquisitions and litigation. At PSA, she is part of the corporate practice. 

Representative Experience

  1. Managed pan-India litigation, assisting in drafting, coordinating with external counsel on matters.

  2. Worked as part of a team conducting due diligence on a private company manufacturing defence equipment, assisted on acquisition paperwork by an Indian listed company through its subsidiary.

  3. Negotiated a hotel operations agreement with a leading Indian hotel operator for a proposed luxury hotel in Uttar Pradesh. Assisted with regulatory approvals for the hotel, and finalized contracts with consultants, contractors, sub-contractors etc.

  4. Advised and assisted on drafting of pleadings for an oppression and mismanagement petition, emanating from a past acquisition. 

  5. Advised management and drafted organizational policies governing employee misconduct, confidentiality and sexual harassment, and finalizing employment contracts, consultancy agreements and sub-contractor arrangements.

  6. Assisted on due-diligence and documentation for sale and purchase of real estate assets, and their development under relevant statutory policies, such as heritage properties and tea estates. 

  7. Assisted on the incorporation of charitable trusts, societies, special purpose vehicles, family trusts, Limited Liability Partnerships.

  8. Advised and assisted in necessary documentation pertaining to acquisition of a ‘tea-estate’ in West Bengal. 

  9. Conducted due-diligence for a proposed business transfer arrangement, for an Indian listed company engaged in manpower outsourcing. Drafted and negotiated the subsequent business transfer agreement, based on the findings in the due-diligence.

  10. Worked as part of team on sale of the Indian entity owned by NYSE listed office-furniture manufacturer.
