Resham graduated from Amity Law School, Amity University in 2014 and completed her LLM in Commercial Law from University of Melbourne, Australia in 2017.
She started her career as “Executive-Legal” at SGS India Private Limited, the Indian affiliate of the Swiss company, SGS S.A., engaged in providing third party inspection, testing, certification and verification services across various sectors such as food, agriculture, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, energy, consumer goods, etc. Resham was responsible for reviewing and monitoring regulatory compliances applicable to SGS’s offices and laboratories pan India. This included compliances related to storage of hazardous chemicals, hazardous waste management, pollution control, labour and employment, health and safety, legal metrology, etc. She also conducted compliance trainings for office managers and laboratory heads. Additionally, Resham was also involved in assisting her seniors in reviewing RFPs and other commercial contracts such as NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Lease Agreements, etc.
In 2015, Resham joined Tata Sky Limited, India’s leading Direct-to-Home service provider as “Executive-Regulatory Affairs”. Her role involved reviewing consumer complaints and assisting in preparation of compliance reports to be furnished to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Resham was also involved in reviewing all statutory licenses applicable for uplinking and downlinking content before commercial contracts were finalized between Tata Sky and various channel partners.
At PSA, Resham assists her seniors in drafting contracts, corporate/commercial advisory, regulatory/compliance work, labour and employment, etc. Her work is spread across sectors such as TMT, chemicals, infrastructure, etc. She also regularly contributes towards the firm’s internal newsletters and bulletins.
